The Old Stagecoach Inn is a meticulously restored, classic Vermont Bed and Breakfast built in 1826. It has served as a tavern, stagecoach stop and private residence, and is now one of Waterbury, Vermont's most well known historic inns. Behind the inn, lawns stretch to the Winooski River and the Green Mountains, while in front, a two minute walk leads to interesting shops and several restaurants. Guests of the Old Stagecoach Inn will enjoy mingling in the large parlor decorated with original antiques, tapestries, sofas, and a friendly African Gray Parrot named Coco. In the morning, guests will come down to a buffet table loaded with muffins, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, and three varieties of Waterbury's very own Green Mountain coffee, followed by a meal of individually prepared selections cooked to order from the kitchen. The outdoor deck provides the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in fine weather. Guests of the inn will also enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and local calls.
This property requires a two night minimum stay for all Friday and Saturday arrivals.
