This Victoria, BC, Bed and Breakfast Guest House, located in Oak Bay on Vancouver Island is a gracious old Victorian home built in 1912 in the Tudor half timbered style. It is easily the oldest continuously operating B&B in Victoria and possibly British Columbia. There have been return guests from 1942. The bed and breakfast has eleven guestrooms and two sitting rooms. The lower Fireplace lounge with its Inglenook Fireplace provides a cozy spot for easy relaxation. The upper accommodations floor Sun Lounge which has a lovely aspect out onto the Bridal garden, has large comfortable chairs, television, and sofas and is highlighted with ferns tropical plants, tea and coffee facilities and an extensive library. The Sunroom is set up for your relaxation and enjoyment. A quiet morning with a cup of tea, or an evening with a jigsaw puzzle makes for an ideal do nothing break. Views of the garden, from the Sunroom are memories not soon forgotten. The dining room offers a romantic restaurant setting with private tables. Time to yourself is on the menu. After a sumptuous four course breakfast you won't need an early lunch. Relax in the private Garden and experience the ultimate luxury of doing nothing at all] Eleven charming rooms offer queen, double and twin beds with elegant decor, yet they are designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay. All rooms have private baths and some have old fashioned claw footed tubs for that added luxury. Two Deluxe Studio Suites are available. A sweeping staircase will show you to 6 of the 11 elegant rooms and our Sunroom. The Foyer and fireplace give guests an instant feeling of belonging and comfort. Each room is comfortably furnished with period wallpaper, carpeting and antique furniture. We have two twin bed rooms, two doubles, and seven queen size bedrooms; our house also has two Studio Suites with sitting Rooms and queen beds in the bedrooms.
