The white clapboard Windflower is a classic New England inn, located on a Berkshire County estate dating back to the 1850's. Enjoy the screened in porch shaded by age old maples for those lazy, late, New England summer afternoons. The mood here is warm, tranquil and informal. Perennial gardens and lush rolling lawns surround the pool. Feel welcomed to the Berkshires with overstuffed sofas, a blazing fire in the living room and the aroma of fruit pies drifting in from the kitchen. The living room with its lovely cloverleaf marble coffee table and comfortable couches is the perfect spot to enjoy your own beverage or the tea and homemade pastries, which are put out for your enjoyment every afternoon. The inn also has a reading room with books, games and a beautiful old oak piano for our guests to use.
