The Homestead sits on 160 ancient wooded acres at the foot of Yosemite National Park. Outdoor adventurers who love hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking, yet don't want rustic, will appreciate the Homestead's blend of a mountain setting with luxury accommodations. Natural gardens, meandering rock walls and clear blue skies lull you into the slower place of a mountain retreat. Many Homestead guests enjoy seeing the sights of Yosemite and the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, while others hardly venture off our 160 acres. For guests that own their horses and want to explore this area by horseback, there is a stabling area for your equine friends. For guests that do not have their own horses, there are several stables nearby for guided rides. The Homestead is truly a place where one can just relax and enjoy nature.
