If you'll be needing
a Rental
Car, there are many companies to choose
from at JFK. In
good weather or bad, there are more things
to do and see in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan
region than anywhere else in the world. From
our Tourist
Resources page you can link to the Web
sites of museums, zoos, live performance venues
and historic sites and attractions. We also
have links to sites that comprise the most
extensive public
transportation network anywhere, so you
can plan how you're going to get to everything
you want to see and do.
Welcome to John F. Kennedy International Airport,
"Where America Greets the World."
This section of the JFK

information about JFK Airport that, while
interesting, isn't necessary to know if
you're planning to fly in or out of JFK.

the runways are? When Terminal 7 was built?

original name of the airport? Visit the JFK
Facts and History page for the answers
to these and dozens of other questions.
Want to know how many
planes take off and land at JFK in a month?
Which airlines carry the most passengers
at JFK? How many passengers travel to and
from Europe to JFK in a year? Visit the
Airport
Traffic Statistics section for this
and more statistical information about airlines,
passengers and cargo John F. Kennedy International,
Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia
airports.
Kennedy International Airport offers travellers
a wide range of Ground Transportation services.
There are taxis, buses, shuttles, and limousines
available in front of all nine terminals.
Ground Transportation Information counters,
located on the lower baggage claim level
of all terminals provide information and
reservations for buses, shared-ride vans
and limousines. Signs to the parking facilities
at JFK are now color coded to indicate their
proximity to the terminals. Car Rental facilities
are just off the airport with frequent courtesy
shuttles to carry passengers to and from
their cars.
