Taxis are available from the airport and the blue airport bus departs every 15 minutes for the underground bus terminal at Plaza de Colón in central Madrid, where buses run hourly to Salamanca. There are seven trains daily from the Madrid Chamartin station to Salamanca, taking 150 minutes. A taxi from the airport to Madrid Chamartin takes 30 minutes and costs 25 30 EUR.
