The Glasshouse is a modern three floor hotel located in Scotland's capital city, 300 meters from bustling Princes Street. The modern glass architecture incorporates the façade of the 150 year old Lady Glenorchy Church. All 65 air conditioned guestrooms have chic contemporary décor and furniture and floor to ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy a night out at the Edinburgh Playhouse, located next door to the hotel and visit Edinburgh Castle, one mile away. The hotel is approximately eight miles and a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport. Frequent daily bus station adjacent to the Terminal to the central Edinburgh bus terminus at Waverley Bridge, 700 meters from the hotel. Taxis are also available from a taxi rank adjacent to the Terminal; a one way taxi fare is approximately £15. Central Edinburgh is compact and, although hilly, can be explored on foot.
