Olympic Valley is a census-designated place located in Placer County northwest of Tahoe City along Highway 89 on the banks of the Truckee River near Lake Tahoe. This fantastic mountain with over 30 lifts heads the valley lined with cabins, homes, hotel and condos. A more colorful valley is not to be seen. It is the home of the Squaw Valley Ski Resort and the Olympic Park site that hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics. |

High Camp is a true mountain-high oasis and never a dull moment in Squaw Valley's. High Camp is also the gateway to most of Squaw Valley's beginner terrain. Snowfest
Snowfest is a 21-year tradition with 10-day family events and filled with indoor and outdoor activities.
