Hinano Moloka'i Ho'e Outrigger Canoe Championship is an annual event nearly for half-century. When started a few tough canoers made the trip to Waikiki and back in one day and proved that canbe done. Now, more than 100 teams make the five-hour channel crossing and most of them are Hawaiian, challengers travel from Tahiti, Hong Kong, and even Hungary. |
