Livonia's history showcase, Greenmead Historical Village, preserves the city's past in significant buildings and related activities. Greenmead features some of Livonia's original buildings from the 1800s, including: the Hill House Museum (1841), Farm Complex and Gardens (1841); Newburg Methodist Church (1848); and many others. |

Newburgh Lake
At the western edge of Livonia sits Newburgh Lake, a beautifully picturesque lake and park. The historic comfort station offers a paddleboat concession and fishing docks during the summer. In the winter, the lake is swept for ice-skating and ice fishing. Newburgh Pointe is a beautiful area with two finger piers for fishing and a small boat launch. |

Idyl Wyld Golf Club
A fair amount of water and sand make Idyl Wyld , a 18 hole regulation course, just as challenging as its fellow links in the area. Hilly at times, and scenic at others, Idyl Wyld is a very enjoyable course for golfers of all abilities. |

Fox Creek Golf Course
Fox Creek's back nine fairways are much more narrow than its front nine. However, both front and back fairways are lined with trees, so shot accuracy is very important. Water hazards come into play on fourteen of eighteen holes. A large number of treacherous sand bunkers have been positioned around the course. |
