Deer Creek Canyon Bike Trail
Deer Creek offers rolling single track and nice forest scenery at times. It located in the southwestern hills, is 20 minutes from downtown depending on traffic. The Red Mesa Loop, a 2.5 mile thrill ride, offers some of the best biking along the Front Range. The area is small but the trails can be linked up pretty well making for a fun ride with various options. |

Waterton Canyon
A popular place for runners and families of bikers, this canyon, located southwest of downtown, offers a little something for all riding skill levels. The road in Waterton Canyon follows a beautiful canyon up to the Strontia Springs Dam. There is plenty of fishing along this stretch of the South Platte River. |
