The Highline State Park
Highline Park offers 25 camp sites and 64 picnic sites on the western shores of Highline Lake. A group picnic area, bath house, RV dump station and jet ski rental add to the attractions of this state park. Most of the recreation opportunities at Highline State Park are water oriented. On Highline Lake boating, water skiing, sailboarding and swimming are popular activities. |

Cross Orchards Living History Farm
Costumed interpreters at the Museum’s Cross Orchards Historic Site offer visitors opportunity to step back in time and imagine what it was like to live as a Grand Valley pioneer in the early 1900s. With more than 22,000 trees, it was one of the largest in the state. The features of cross orchards includes an original bunkhouse, a model railroad exhibit, and the largest collection of Uintah narrow gauge railway cars on the Western Slope. |
