Busch
Stadium
Busch Stadium is a two-deck concrete facility with about
25,000 seats in each deck. The seats completely surround
the grass playing field, which is 10 to 30 feet lower than
street level, and sight lines are completely unobstructed.
The nearly circular structure has an outside diameter of
more than 800 feet, covers more than 12 acres and is 130-feet
tall, measured from the playing field to the top of the
stadium.
Missouri Botanical Garden
In the spring, tulips bring to mind a Dutch landscape. Step
inside the Climatron and enter a South American jungle (extreme
humidity included). Spring and summer bring lots of weddings.
Reach a Zen-like state at Seiwa-en, the largest Japanese
garden in the Western Hemisphere. In the Weeping Cherry
garden, shapes raked in the gravel represent nature's water-and-land
relationships.
City Museum
This
fascinating, interactive fun-house, imagined by local artist
Bob Cassilly, has received national attention for providing
kids and adults a dizzying array of larger-than-life installations
made exclusively of recycled materials. Real castle turrets,
fire engines and abandoned planes are placed in impossibly
precarious configurations for your exploring enjoyment.
Anheuser-Busch
Brewery Tours
This
100-acre beer plant hosts tours that take visitors through
its brewing process, from aging to packaging. From the regal
stables and paddock of the company's world-famous Budweiser
Clydesdales, the tour moves on to the beech-wood aging cellar
and historic brew house and ends at the packaging plant.
Experiencing the plant's gargoyles, archways and trams is
a colorful experience.

| St.
Louis has a look that's all its own. It has been described
as eastern, southern, European and completely unique in
the world. Red brick, cobblestone streets, terra cotta friezes
and stained glass are part of the tapestry of St. Louis'
amazing architectural heritage. And now, thanks to the addition
of new attractions, including a Frank Lloyd Wright house
