Goldfield Ghost Town
Head out to the only authentic ghost town in the valley,
at the foot of the Superstition Mountains. Learn about the
mystery surrounding the Lost Dutchman Mine and tour an historic

Mountains from a superior angle. Other features include
gunfights, narrow-guage railroad, museums of mining equipment

Rawhide 1880s Western Town
Step back in time to the Wild Wild West in Arizona's largest
western theme park. Be careful when you walk through the
streets, you never know when a cattle rustler might get
involved in a shoot-out. Rides and attractions are throughout
the town. If shopping is your idea of fun, you won't be
disappointed with more than 15 shops. You can even buy a
rattler head for that special someone. Seasonal cookouts,
a famous steak house and a saloon are open too; be careful,
the sheriff does not like rowdies. Admission is free except

Scottsdale Culinary Festival
April
brings this celebration of fine wines and culinary delicacies.
As many as 50,000 people flock to enjoy choices from 12
different venues on the menu. Past events have included
the Le Tour Culinaire, Great Arizona Picnic and black-tie

this annual event; proceeds benefit art education programs

Scottsdale
Historical Museum
Originally
built as Scottsdale's first "Little Red School House,"
this facility was used most recently by the Chamber of Commerce
during its restoration and conservation. Collections include
an exhibit featuring Winfield Scott, the founding father
of Scottsdale. Photographs and memorabilia representing
the history and culture of "The West's Most Western
Town" are featured. There is an on-site gift shop with
interesting specialty books for children and adults.
